We hope so. Mike and I moved to Peace Acres, formerly The Bowen Ranch, in March of 2010. My folks finally made the decision to make the move back to Iowa, where they could be near Sister Brenda and her family, including their only two grandchildren. Mike and I agreed to sell our house and move to the home and land that I grew up on, giving me more space for possible small farming ventures, keeping the property in the family, and making it easy for the folks to leap at an opportune housing situation. So the adventure began.
I sit here in the family room at Lisa Medley's, writer of the Life in the Big Cedars blog, and she is introducing me to my own blog while we hang out with some of our girlfriends, eating, reading magazines, playing games (old school and electronic), and sharing our stories.
The story of Peace Acres began a year ago, and will be told over time in this blog.
